About Me
Mentor, Coach, Leader
I am the son of Jamaican immigrants and the 1st born of 3. Raised in the south suburbs of Chicago, I was nurtured in a loving household of friends and family that taught discipline, hard work, valued education and held me accountable. These were my humble beginnings before entering into a career as a 20+ year public servant with the majority of those years as a federal law enforcement professional. Subject matter area expertise include the following areas: external affairs, executive liaisons, use-of-force, criminal investigations, executive protection, field training, undercover operations, public affairs, team leadership, recruitment/hiring, legislative advocacy , facilitated mediation, facilitated dialogues, workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion. At the community level, I volunteer as a member on several board and as volunteer assistant with kids
wrestling.
As the father of 4, gold star father of 1, and married over for 25 years, I’ve experienced the highest of highs in raising multi-instrument musicians, a classically trained dancer, athletic and academic all-Americans, district, state, and national champions, and two graduates from the United States Military Academy (West Point) while enduring the lowest of lows in burying a child and a parent with a year’s time.
Taken collectively, those accomplishments are not achieved without careful guidance, responsible parenting, and disciplined direction while the recovery from those losses are not properly processed without prayer, wisdom, humility, and community support.
I choose to continue to share those life lessons and the invaluable wisdom accumulated from those experiences through the priceless gift of life coaching and mentorship.
